Lizzy’s Journey

In 2021, Lizzy found a lump on her breast and was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought a good fight and beat it. 2-3 weeks after beating breast cancer, she started to experience bad tension headaches which led her back into the emergency department for further testing. The doctors then informed her that she had brain tumours growing on the left side of her brain. After a long road of treatment and medication, her medical team could no longer do anything else for her but to help make her comfortable. Lizzy found her relief in God and decided to live the rest of her life to the fullest.

Lizzy started to document her journey on Instagram so that she could help those who were struggling with their own health journeys and so her son could one day watch all these videos and posts of his mother fighting her battle. You’ll find her journey on @grow_withlizzay.

Unfortunately, Lizzy lost her life to cancer on the morning of Monday 26th February 2024.

Lizzy leaves behind a family who are struggling to give her the send off she deserves. She also leaves behind her baby boy, a week before his 6th birthday😞❤️
