Logan's journey to the 2022 WKF Junior World Karate Championships in Turkey
Browns Bay, Auckland
Logan has been training at Fushin Ryu Karate in Auckland since he was 6 years old. He has represented his country at two Oceania Championships and won gold medals for kumite both times. He has also medaled at the USA Open in Las Vegas, and multiple times at the Australian Open and Australasian School Championships in Sydney. It's now time to step up to the next level so in October 2022 he will fly to Turkey to fight against the world's best 16-17 year olds.
Karate athletes in NZ don't receive any funding. He has had to decline the Commonwealth Karate Championships in England in September in order to be able to compete at this event in Turkey. If you are able to contribute a dollar or two to help us get him to Turkey, we would be forever grateful :) Thank you
