Logan’s Scoliosis Journey

Logan is our 15 year old, cheeky, athletic, basketball mad, son.

He was first diagnosed with Scoliosis in 2021 with a 36.2 degree curve. 8 months later, it’s now a 42.7 degree curve of his spine (which is a fast progression).

In NZ, surgery is the only solution which has been offered by the hospital when he gets to a 50degree curve. The surgery has a risk of paralysis so it’s not an option for our son.

The Scoliosis Care Center in California, provides a non surgical treatment plan to reduce Logan’s curve and hold it long term. However, this is not a funded treatment so we are raising funds with the help of kind and caring Kiwis to help us pay for the next two to three years treatment for Logan and his scoliosis.
