Lombok's Earthquake Donations

On behalf of Lombok's Community living in NZ I want to raise money to help victim's in 7.0SR Earthquake in Lombok - Indonesia.

At the moment they're in need of clean water, food, tent, clothes, nappies, blankets etc

Lombok Island in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia has been jolted by two major earthquakes and hundreds of aftershocks in the past week with a 6.4 on July 29th followed by an even more devastating 7.0 on August 5th, with many aftershocks that added to the destruction.

The death toll of the 7.0-quake has been continuing to climb (According to Jakarta Post on Monday 6/8/18, 91 people have been reported dead), hundreds have been wounded, and thousands have been forced to evacuate their homes. Electricity has gone dead in parts of the island, clean drinking water has been difficult to access, and local residents have been afraid to go indoors, fearful that they could collapse.

My name is Linda Bridge and I'm originally from Indonesia. Lombok has a special place in my heart because I grew up in this beautiful Island.

I spent my childhood and early 20's in this place before I came to New Zealand. And my heart is broken to know that my family & friends got affected by it.

So my friends & I, who are from Lombok & living in New Zealand, are setting up this page to raise awareness of the plight of people in Lombok to help them get clean water, food, tents, medicine, clothes and essentials that they need. But we can't do it alone.
