Like the frog in the Haiku, the Team at Lotus Realm jump in... despite 2 cyclones plus a 3rd lot of torrential rain badly affecting trade, it is still business as usual at Lotus Realm. Join the Lotus Realm Music Shop team to explore Songwriting, D Tin Whistle, Bodhran (Irish frame drum) techniques in workshops led by Irish musician Sean Kelly and friends.
Enjoy the Long weekend in beautiful natural bush setting 10 minutes from Thames township. Yummy healthy vegetarian food, accommodation and guided mindfulness/ meditation sessions also included.
There will be live music performances to enjoy (and perhaps join in) in the evenings.

One of our Lotus Realm supporters had a bright idea to set up a weekly $10 standing donation to donate towards our rent fundraising. At the end of the year he will have sponsored one week's rent. The hugely talented and charming Jon Sanders, with special guest Krissy Jackson will play an intimate concert at the Kauaeranga Hall, Thames as part of his current 2017 NZ Tour. He is kindly donating the concert proceeds towards the development of the 'Back Room' Music space at Lotus Realm
Heather Garland, Steve Terry from Lotus Realm will join their fellow musician friends Nick Tidmarsh, Sarah Hawkwind Taylor, Greg Hampton and Jeff Whitfield, Neil Van den Bos as part of 2 local Thames bands "The Thames Tinkers", and newly formed "The Dirty Firth" for a FREE concert at the Brew Cafe & Bar, Sat 11th March from 7.30 until late. It will be a heady blend of new originals and old favourites, rocking, bluesy, folkey, dancey... food & beverages available from the bar.
