Kia Ora whanau and friends. Thank you all so deeply for your kind donations thus far. It means a lot to our family. Our battle a head is not over. We have many hurdles to cross until we can finally stop and grieve the tragic passing of our dad. Along the road to here we've also had to tell our story and reflect who our dad really was during his time on Earth. Here is an interview I did with the Northern Advocate/ NZ Herald.

Neville Albert Thomson a descendant of the McLeod Clan from Donvaggan Castle in the Isle of Skye.

"Hold Fast" is his Clan's motto and Uncle Neville has definitely upheld his motto through out his life and continues to do so in his after life.

As we prepare his waka tīwaewae for his voyage to the River of Styx

we as a whānau and Hapū acknowledge the Scottish heritage and beliefs of our beloved Dad, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Mate/Bro

    Details of Rā nehu.

A service will be held at Waipārera Marae at 10:00am tomorrow morning. He will then return to his whenua in Puketawa where he had selected his final resting place.

May your journey to YOUR Hawaiiki Pāmamao be smooth sailing. Your whānau have your toll to pay the Ferry Man to get you beyond the veil.
