Sending love, support and strength to this beautiful family while their little girl Leah begins her fight against Leukemia. ❤ #loveforleah
Canterbury
On Friday the 2nd July 2021, little Leah Grace Duncan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This beautiful 5-year-old girl, along with her amazing parents Hannah and Craig and big sister Hollie had their hearts broken with this devastating news. Suddenly their world has been flipped upside down.
In the last 7 days, Leah has endured more than anyone should have too. She has been on strong antibiotics and steroids to help treat pneumonia, she has had bone marrow surgery, spinal fluid surgery and already completed three rounds of chemotherapy. She has also been diagnosed with the RSV virus that is affecting so many little ones throughout our country. This has made it increasingly more difficult for her breathing and her little body to regain strength after each treatment.
🌸Leah🌸 is a beautiful, brave, polite and creative little lady with such a gorgeous and caring heart and soul. She already has shown so much bravery at just 5 years old and responding the best she can to the medical treatments she has been provided with so far. Her doctors and nurses have said what a 🌟SUPERSTAR🌟 patient she is, and has taken it all in her stride.
Hannah and Craig both run their own business and with them both by Leah's side at this scary time we all as friends and family want to support them anyway we can and take a little bit of stress off them during their long journey ahead.
We want to send them all the love, support and prayers as we can, just as they would for any other family in this heartbreaking situation.❤
Any funds raised will be gratefully appreciated and used to cover any expenses incurred during Leah's fight against Leukemia. Hannah and Craig have also requested part of the donations be forwarded onto some of the amazing charities that are helping and supporting them all along the way.

🌸Leah🌸 has been showing how strong she can be throughout all her treatments and medications so far. She has recovered from the RSV virus and continues to receive chemotherapy and blood tranfusions. Hannah, Craig, Hollie and Leah are all together as a family and being cared for and looked after at the Ronald Macdonald house.
It's still early days in her fight against Leukemia and with every bad day there has been good days.
Please continue to keep Leah and her amazing family in your thoughts and hearts ❤🌟🌸
