Loving Spoonfuls
To support the start up of my cake business.

In March 2011, after being assulted and having a fall within 3 days of each other, I had to close my massage therapy clinic. I was on my own, alone, dealing with this triple whammy.
It took a lot of personal strength & resilience to get myself fit in body and mind. Despite now suffering fibromyalgia, I am ready to get on with my life.
I will succeed. But I need some help.
A couple of months ago I quit my job, with a plan to build my own cake business - I graduated 20 years ago as a Pastry Chef. It is taking longer than I planned with no working capital. I am shoe stringing it.
The funds I had set aside to support myself and the start up are gone. I have been encouraged by friends to finally ask for help, something I never do.
I still need to purchase baking tins, make sample cakes to photography for the website, pay someone to finish the website & do SEO on it (I have done it myself so far).
My dream is to have a retail cakery by Mid 2016, employing & training staff in hospitality, offering classes to the community and making amazing cakes & small goods.
I never wanted to be a charity case. But I believe in my talent, I love making cakes that make people happy, and believe this can be a successful business. I just recognise that I can't financially do this on my own.
Any support you can offer goes directly into making my dream a reality.

The donations keep coming, thank you. I had a good think about this today. Its great to know there is that little bit more to put towards paying the tax on the donations received (your donations are not tax exempt). New goal on the list is to buy a couple of silpat commercial grade non-stick baking sheets, new gel food colourings for the kisses, and put some funds towards getting help with marketing. With the generous spirited people I know, I am sure this is possible.
