Luca's Lifesaver

Hi, my Name's Luca 🐱 You can see handsome pictures of me attached. My Mum has created this page because I've acquired a pesky polyp within my sinus region & is growing fast. Mum has spent $1300 & taken me to multiple vets just to reach this point of diagnosis. I need said polyp removed, ASAP (my symptoms worsen daily) & this procedure will cost $1300-2400. This surgery will provide me the best chance at recovery 🤞

Mum, being a responsible petowner has always had pet insurance surgical cover for me (knowing that's where the high costs lay) but unfortunately over the years the definition has changed- they only consider it surgical if an incision is made/ stitches. This procedure doesn't require this & even though considered surgical by the Veterinarian... insurance won't come to the party.

I turned 10 in December, but what tests have shown is that my organs are in top condition and my bloodwork is pristine. As I am otherwise a very healthy boy, I could live another 5-10yrs. 🎉

The fee for this potentially life saving procedure is outside of Mum's affordability & hopes trying crowd funding will help me get the surgery I need.

It would break Mum's heart to have to give up on me, purely due to cost. 💔

So, understanding the current cost of living, if you are infact in any position to 'givealittle'- Mum would be so appreciative.
