LUCIEN THE SOLDIER BOY

Kia Ora whanau my name is kerehi samuels I created this page on behalf of my little cousin shahana and her pepi boy lucien. Lucien is less than a year old. Soldier boy first went into hospital at 4months old with his first seizure on the 5th of May this year 2023 and has been in and out since my cousin was told her pepi suffers from DRAVET SYNDROME a rare type of epilepsy that starts in the first years of your babys life. It's first occurrence is usually a long lasting seizure(more than 5mins) that's triggered by high fever. Children with Dravet syndrome have a WIDE RANGE of seizure types and severity.lucien seizures he's already had are as follows prolong clonic tonic seizure,absence seizures,focal febrile seizures his body goes into shut down mode even EXCITMENT TRIGGERS HIS SEIZURES. I want to be able to help take some stress off this little family so they can concentrate on their baby's. shahana has a loving partner who's has had to cut back on Mahi to help care for their eldest boy my cousin and her partner have done bloody awesome for their pepis considering the life they both had growing up so I want to be the big cousin that can take stress away so all they are concentrating on are their babies the funds raised will help shahana to purchase the monitors that are needed to track lucien seizure during his sleep and whatever else comes unexpectedly coz that's is what has been happening for this family all donations are appreciated and grateful thank you stay blessed
