Lucky needs a life changing Operation
Folley Farm Animal Sanctuary cares for many animals who come to us broken, sick or injured and nearly always need medical assistance.

Our dear little boy Lucky who is only 5 months old, needs an operation to remove a polyp that has grown in the middle ear cavity and has ruptured the eardrum, then continue to grow into the ear canal and through to the Eustachian tube (auditory tube) and appear as a mass in the back of the throat. He needs this operation so he has the very best chance of being adopted and therefore having the chance to live a long and happy, loved life.

Use of funds
Lucky needs a life-altering operation: Right Ventral bulla osteotomy, Lateral bulla osteotomy, and ear canal resection. The ear mass will be cultured and biopsied.

4TH DAY OF RECOVERY 5 September 2022
It has been 4 days since Lucky's surgery and he is doing very well, enjoying lots of cuddles, and has no problem yelling for attention. No more wheezing and breathing smoothly, and totally has a huge appetite. He is such a cuddly boy and a perfect angel when taking his meds, thank goodness as most cats are not as behaved. He is not interested in playing but that could be contributed to being on pain meds as well, but he has a lovely heated pad in his bed so he is very toasty warm.
