Hi all, my names Luke Ganz and I am 21 and I have Lymphoma cancer

About 1 year ago I started to feel my glands in my neck swelling, I went to the doctor and he said he would do some tests and about a week later after the tests he said that I have cancer. The cancer was in my neck, arm pits, chest, and my groin.

I went into surgery and then I had chemotherapy and radiation over a 5 month period.

We hoped and prayed that the cancer was beaten but unfortunately it wasn't

I went for my first month check-up and the doctors said that the cancer hadn't gone away and it has come back aggressively in my glands again.

The doctors have started me on ICE chemotherapy, I have to do it every month for 4 months, the treatment I have lasts for 3 days and then it takes about 10 days to recover from the effects of the treatment. For my last treatment they are giving me chemotherapy for 28 days straight and radiation in my neck and they are also doing a bone marrow transfer, all of this will hopefully stop the cancer from killing me.

The doctors have said I have a 40% chance of getting through the treatment. Unfortunately New Zealand doctors have said this is all they can do for me but there is another option available for me overseas called PDT Laser Treatment, an advanced technology that New Zealand doesn't have. Its really expensive as each session costs about $20,000 NZ$ and I will need 3-4 sessions plus travel and accommodation.

I would like to see my son Ryan grow up , he is now 1 1/2 years old. I cant work as a farm hand as I'm always sick and weak. I haven't the money for the treatment so I hope my online request will get me the money to have the treatment. I know its asking for a lot of money so all I can say if you can donate towards my cause awesome and if you cant that's ok all I ask if you would please forward it on to your friends and family and ask them to send it on as well as the more people I can reach then the more likely I will get the funds needed to save my life.
