We need to raise as much money as possible with a target of $43,500 for Madhu's unfunded cancer treatment (10 cycles of chemo)

Madhu has been a hard working colleague and friend of mine for over 3 years. She touches peoples lives where ever she is and is so generous and thoughtful. Real salt of the earth lady.

Sadly about 6 months ago she was diagnosed with stage 4 liver,lung and bowel cancer.

To her testament she was extremely brave took this in her stride, remained positive and faced it head on. Against the odds she responded well to the funded treatment available and has endured 10 cycles of chemo. Her current treatment has now started to plateau and the Oncologists have advised the best course of action is an unfunded treatment that is going to cost her $43,500 for 10 cycles. I am setting up this page so that all of her friends, family and even generous strangers can help us ease this financial burden so that her health continues to improve. This is going to be a big year for her as she is going to be a grandmother :). Your support would be wonderful in helping a lady who helps so many others.

1st Round of chemo done 24 January 2020

Madhu has undergone her 1st round of "new" chemo, The doctors are continuing on her old chemo aswell. She was feeling positive and looking good, though she said she felt quite weak. Our thoughts and prayers are with her that she will respond quickly and we can get the tumor down to an operable level!
