Maggie's Magnificent Hair Donation

If you know Maggie, you’ll know her for her radiant smile—and her glorious locks that would make even Rapunzel envious. This summer marks a special milestone: Maggie is having her very first haircut.

Even at just five years old, Maggie has shown incredible thoughtfulness. We've had meaningful conversations about how her hair could be used to help another child or young person who is seriously unwell. With a generous heart, she’s decided to donate her beautiful hair to be made into a wig, offering someone else the gift of courage, confidence, and dignity during a difficult time.

As a Kiwi/British family, living in Malaysia, we’ll be in the UK this July/August. While we're there, we’ll donate Maggie’s hair to the Little Princess Trust, a well-known charity that provides real-hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair through illness. There’s no cost to have the hair turned into a wig, but it does cost the charity around £700 to create one. We’d love to help cover that cost with a donation in Maggie’s name.
