A bit of magic for Maia this winter

After a full on few weeks of ups and downs and scary times, here's an update from Maia's mum Tegan which I thought you might like to hear...

Hey friends!

Maia update 🙏🙏🙏

She's starting to sleep better now in her own room👏👏👏👏👏👏

She's off the antibiotics yayy!!!

No more fevers 🙌🙌🙌

And she's getting weaned off the high flow oxygen!!💪💪

On the whole Maia is slowly improving. She's only having physio 2 x a day at the moment to help with coughing up secretions. The Register Doctors for respiratory came down, and they haven't got a clear plan yet. She's sat in her wheelchair for the first time today, playing with play dough & trying to attempt to eat again. Slowly does it the doctors say, as she's been through so much 💙. Not only has she been battling the pneumonia she also has had a virus on top of it!

On the road to recovery now... Hopefully be home in time for my birthday next week lol 😂

Thank you for your support through these times, it's been super hard for us and we are amazed and blessed to have you all in Maia's corner. Your amazing generosity is so so so appreciated by us all.
