Mako's car was written off by a drunk driver, and with the last few months being rough for him, he needs a break...can you spare a few $$$

Hawke's Bay

In the early hours of New Year's Day Mako's parked car was hit at speed by a drunk driver. The car is wrtten off. Mako had no insurance as his Dad, who was a solo parent, died 6 months ago and dealt with this. Mako does not know I'm doing this as he does not want hand outs, but might need them just this once. Mako has just turned 18 and is an aspiring golfer who plays off a +1 handicap. He has goals to make the NZ tour this year and we don't want him to start his life off in debt. We need this money so he can buy a new car. This happened, at no fault of his own so if you could spare a few dollars it might ease the rough time he has had if late.

I know there are much greater causes out there but he really does deserve something good to happen. Cheers

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
