  • Hanmer 8hr MTB race postponed

    Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far! Appreciate all your support.

    With the current concerns around COVID-19 and the government imposing restrictions on events and public gatherings, the Hanmer Event team have decided that it would be best to postpone the race date to later in the year.

    We will continue to train as a team and keep this page going until we hear more information about a new race date from the Hanmer Event organisers.

    Again, appreciate all your support so far.

    We’re all in this together, keep safe and look after each other.

  • Another Sunday another training ride

    Adrian and Frank went out for another training ride this Sunday.

    The pace was a little bit faster so that they could get a feel for a good race day pace.

    Unfortunately, Roger has been a bit sick. But is on the road to be race fit by race day.

    Mark was busy helping out with a model train event that was being hosted in the Many Hats Theatre. The very theatre we are fundraising for!

  • Sunday training ride

    Mark, Frank and Adrian went on a training ride together last Sunday. See the photo from Frank's Strava account to see where they went and how they got on. It was a warm day, but was pleasant under the cover of the tall pine trees!

  • Meet our 8hr Hanmer MTB race team

    Meet Mark (left), Adrian (middle left) and Frank (middle). Roger missed the team photo so have added a very suave looking photo of him on his own!

    They have willingly put their hand up to do the Hanmer 8hr mountain bike race to fundraise for the Many Hats Theatre development.

    Support their efforts by sponsoring them to reach their goal of riding 100kms in 8hrs by clicking the "DONATE" button now.
