Support the Marathon Row fundraiser to help us reach 1,000,000 metres and raise funds for the Community House!

Cambridge, Waikato

Join us for an incredible day of endurance and community spirit with a Marathon Row. Our goal is to collectively complete 1,000,000 metres using rowing machines, bikes, and ski ergs. Strength Nation Gym is proud to host this event, with each machine sponsored and all profits going directly to Cambridge Community House. We also have F45 Training Cambridge running the same Marathon Row at the same time.

Whether you're rowing, biking, skiing, or just cheering us on, your support makes a difference. Come down and be part of something special. There will be a hydration station brought to you by The Warehouse Cambridge, and a coffee cart. Let's make every metre count!

Date: 28th March 2026

Times:

7am to 2pm at Strength Nation Gym, 2 Oliver Street, Cambridge (please park on the road).

9am to 2pm at F45 Training, 30 Albert Street, Cambridge.

To reserve a machine, email Strength Nation gym at cambridge@strengthnation.co.nz and state your name, arrival time, how many 30min slots you want. We will endeavour to accommodate timings and machines. For those unable to row, please ask for information on exercise bikes and ski ergs.

About us

For 40 years, Cambridge Community House has stood alongside whānau, offering counselling, financial mentoring, and practical help when life becomes overwhelming. Each week, the team welcomes people seeking support, whether they need a listening ear, advocacy through complex systems, or essentials such as food, toiletries, school uniforms, and transport to medical appointments.

The need for support continues to grow, and many in the community face moments that can be hard to manage alone. Some arrive feeling unsure of their next steps, while others are looking for guidance to bring stability back into their lives. Whatever the circumstances, the team offers practical solutions, clear information, and a calm space where people feel respected and heard. Every donation helps keep this support available to anyone in Cambridge who needs it.

Use of funds

All funds raised will go to Cambridge Community House, supporting their vital work in the community. Your contributions will help provide essential services and support to those in need.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
