Marg has breast cancer and a brand new baby

Wellington

Marg has experienced the most amazing thing of all.. having her first baby!! Baby girl is adorable and the perfect gift. Unfortunately before baby was one week old, Squirtie was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and cancer in her lymph nodes. What horrific timing one would say.. She is taking every day in her stride and has almost completed her first 12 weeks of chemotherapy. Next steps are to complete a gruelling 3 months of weekly chemotherapy. She is so strong and will totally smash this. We are all so proud of you! Squirtie is writing a blog, if you want to follow this, address is: www.margsjourney2015.blogspot.co.nz

We will also be holding a T20 cricket match as a charity/curtain raiser to the NZ Whiteferns vs Australia T20 on the Basin Reserve to raise funds for NZBCF. This is going to be an amazing day, so please mark in your calendars the 1st March 2016 as a day not too miss! Watch this space. Hilly
