Please help Marmalade recover from a viscous machete attack.
Auckland
This poor guy has been through more than most strays we have dealt with.
Marmalade was a victim of a machete attack. His tail was not only attacked with a machete once, but twice by some mongrel.
Our dedicated trapper, Tanya, sat out night after night for seven weeks to try and catch Marmalade! Finally she caught him!
Marmalade was in a state. Seven weeks of putrid infection and pain. We started this baby on pain relief and antibiotics straight away and booked him in for surgery.
Wee Marmalade has a long road ahead of him of healing and gaining trust in humans. We won’t give up. We will be by his side always and give this guy the love and life he deserves.
Please could you spare a dollar or two towards Marmalade’s surgery and after care we would be forever grateful.
