Funding Mason with surgery to remove his breast and help him become who he truly is. A MALE.
Nelson / Tasman
Hello, I'm Ashleigh, Mason's partner I have been his partner only a short three months but have been his best friend for a number of years. In the amount of time, I have been with Mason I have seen him struggle within himself. Mason was actually born a female; however he never once felt comfortable in his own skin turning to a life of drinking and self-harm to try and cope with these feelings of self-hatred. He couldn't understand why he felt so depressed and disgusted in himself until one day two years ago he watched a YouTube video describing everything he felt and wanted to be. HE KNEW THEN, he was NEVER a GIRL but A BOY trapped in a body he hated and didn't want to be. Since this time Mason has lived as a boy; he's cut his hair, he's changed his name, he's started binding his chest and has been on Testosterone 5 months. This fund me page is to raise funding towards surgery to remove the female parts on mason chest. Mason is a size DD he binds every day, all day resulting in bruising, sores in addition to reducing his ability to breath and run. Mason can not look at himself in a mirror without feeling sick, he cannot go swimming in public places without feeling discriminated against. He struggles every day but always is determined to put a smile on everyone's face as well as the need to help other people in all areas of life. This year Mason is starting his nursing career, he understands the importance of caring for people in need and being there when a person has given up all hope. Mason is MY amazing person; I never want him to feel like he is not a male and something that would really help with that is if you could donate a little bit of money. This doesn't have to be a lot, as I and Mason are saving as well for his surgery. But anything you can give would be much appreciated.
