Mason's Journey with High-risk Neuroblastoma

Mason had a simple fall at daycare in October 2023. This led to a world shattering diagnosis of high risk neuroblastoma. A cancerous tumor above his right kidney the size of a golf ball. This had unfortunately spread to >85% of his bones. Bone spread was throughout his lower limbs, pelvis, spine, and his arms.

Over the last 11 months he has been undergoing a multitude of tests, scans, biopsy's, surgeries.

He has undergone chemotherapy, tumor resection surgery, radiation therapy, 2x stem cell transplants, and is currently going through immunotherapy.

Not only to struggle through helping their son go through cancer treatments, both his Mum, Huia and Dad, James lost their jobs to liquidation. Due to their situation they are unable to find a job when they are sticking together as a family throughout his treatments.

They are staying strong by his side, but they need help to stay there.

Losing their jobs has had a big impact on financial stress; food, fuel, travelling, and house-hold bills.

The past 11 months have been the hardest of all of our lives.
