Masters in New York

My name is Natania Ngawhau, and I have been accepted into the Master of Music in Orchestral Performance programme at the Manhattan School of Music. I will be studying under Colin Williams, Associate Principal Trombone of the New York Philharmonic starting in September 2025. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity, one that will help me continue to further develop as a musician.

I have been fortunate to receive a generous scholarship from the school toward my tuition. However, a significant financial gap remains. I am seeking support to help cover the remainder of my tuition fees, as well as travel and living expenses while I am based in New York.

Through this page, I hope to raise $10,000 to contribute toward living costs for the 2025–2026 academic year, as part of a broader fundraising goal of $25,000 to be secured by August 2025. Should this goal not be met in time, all funds raised will be returned to the donors and I will defer the start of my studies to September 2026.

Pursuing this degree at the Manhattan School of Music represents a crucial step in my development as a professional musician, and I am committed to making the most of this opportunity.
