    Thank you all for the generosity you have shown. We have raised over $7,000 which the Trust will match from previous reserves. We are in the process of pricing and acquiring generators, pumps and chainsaws and allocating funds to groups who are doing restoration work around the dunes and the bluff track.

    Thank you again for adding so positively to our community. We really appreciate it.

    Thank you for your generosity to date.

    There are other communities much worse off than ours, so we appreciate that others may want to donate elsewhere and we completely support and encourage that.

    People have been asking so here are some examples of how funds raised locally might be used to build community resilience - community generators, water pumps, additional medical or water filtration supplies, tsunami supplies and anything else that as a community we might need should a disaster strike.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with those in the Hawkes Bay area.
