I'm on a journey to travel New Zealand to compete at the highest level for the fastest growing sport in America (and soon to be the world!), called Pickleball. What the heck is that you may ask? Think table tennis, badminton and tennis combined and boom - Pickleball (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgrwEscfx5A&t=1273s)
I am lucky enough to be recognised as a player in NZ by Pickleball leader, Selkirk Sport (https://www.selkirk.com/), for my efforts thus far. Fortunate enough to come away with a medal at all tournaments I’ve entered - I'm on a mission to continue these efforts moving forward. However, Selkirk generously supports me with their equipment, not funds! And so that's where I'm asking for your help! My income supports my family and a little bit of savings towards our first home, but doesn't allow me to travel for my passion. I am a proud Dad to two kids under two and my amazing partner currently stays at home to raise our amazing children, Isla-Rose and Arlo.
I don't want to ask people for a lot of money as I know times are tough and there is very little in return for you, however, I'm determined, driven and passionate enough that I am giving anything a shot to make these tournaments happen. I am seeking minor personal sponsorship from willing people/businesses to support my journey in playing in all 5 (soon to be 6) recognised tournaments in New Zealand. They are; Auckland (x 2 events), Hawkes Bay, Rotorua, Ashburton and soon to be Wellington.
