Our friend Matt needs our help.

Warkworth, Auckland

Local legend and everyone's favourite sparky, Matt McGoram is unfortunately dealing with testicular cancer. After already losing his testicle he has found out that the cancer has spread and is now having to face 9 weeks of chemo.

As long as I've known Matt he has always given the shirt off his back to help his friends in the community. He didn't even want me to create this page, but unfortunately Matt needs our help.

The goal of this fundraiser is to help take the financial pressure and stress off Matt so he can focus on his fight with cancer.

Update: Good news today from the oncologist, Matt's cancers is tracking in the right direction. We will keep you all updated. Thank you all for your support so far, it has been awesome.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
