Auckland
The Mc Bride Family lost their home and belongings in a house fire that struck in the middle of the night. Hibiscus Coast, Auckland.
Sian, Patrick and daughter Ashlin aged 17, managed to escape the blaze along with one of the family dogs, who is currently at the local vet receiving medical treatment. We are hoping for a full recovery, unfortunately its not looking good. The other family dog is presumed perished. It was the dogs that woke the family, ultimately saving their lives.
*UPDATE* With heavy hearts we wish to update you that both the dogs have become victims to this house fire.
They managed to escape the blaze with only the sleepwear they were wearing. The Mc Bride family need your help during this heartbreaking time.
*UPDATE AUGUST 8TH* A personal message from Sian “We are overwhelmed with the kindness and best wishes. Everybody's prayers and good vibes have been felt. It is with gratitude we accept these gifts.” Sian Mc Bride
With just a few days left on this page, we thank you. Both Sian and Patrick will spend time some at work this week. Ashlin returned to school for some subjects. However she has been met with some mixed opinions from other students. Kindness matters. Bullying is never okay.
