Medical Supplies for Wuhan Medics

Hello Friends and Family,

Thank you for being here on this page and listening to my message.

I come from the city of Wuhan, China. As many of you may know, it is the epicentre of the Novel Corona Virus at the moment and my family, along with the 11 million people under lockdown in Wuhan and over 40 million in the province of Hubei. What you may or may not know about, are the thousands of medics across the city, fighting in the front line, exhausted, sleepless and risking their lives to help those in need.

Through the Hubei Association of NZ, we have managed to raise a tremendous amount of money and have sent thousands of protective visors, goggles and facemasks to various hospitals in Wuhan. I wish I had the means to donate more which is why I am reaching out for donations to purchase more supplies for the heroes on the front line.

On Monday 24th February I will be suiting up in a full body hazmat suit, facemask, gloves and goggles for 12 hours straight to salute those who are working much harder and longer. I will arrive at work at 8:00am NZT, suit up and will work through the until 8:00pm NZT. I hope you can support my cause and every dollar that is contributed would mean the world to me and I’m sure to the medics.

It will be opened from NOW to Wednesday 26th of Feb. Time is of the essence which is why it is only going to be available for a limited amount of time. So please feel free to share this with friends and family

I would also like to share a thought that this is a global tragedy like many outbreaks in the past. We have seen Novel H1N1 aka Swine Flu emerging out of Mexico and USA, we have seen Ebola emerge out of Africa, we have seen influenza break out in Europe. These things can happen anywhere around the world and not everywhere had the means for such aggressive containment measures. Please do not divide and discriminate in this nervous time, we need to Stand Together and Support Each Other to do the right things and stay safe. Believe that love will win!
