I want to meet my baby. I have not seen my baby who was born in India

I am based in Southland and I am working part time. My baby was born on 19th of September this year and I am yet to see him. The reason I need help is I am on a student visa and working part time. No matter how hard I try I won't be able to save that much money. The reason my baby is in India is because:

When my wife got pregnant, We realized it will be very expensive for us to get through that period as we are not the residents. We thought it would be better for us if she gives birth in India and I will come in December or January and will bring them over here. However it is not very easy as it will cost close to $3000 to go over there and extra for bringing them over here.I am working only 20 hours a week which also makes it a bit difficult for me to save up. I therefore ask for help to make me meet my family and bring them over here so that we can start our new life.
