To help Meg with her recovery

Auckland

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this message. On our way back to the car park after spending the day at Bethels Beach, Meg was viscously attacked by another dog. I was walking Meg back to the car when another dog escaped from their owners car and latched onto Meg. It took 5 big adults to rip the other dog off Meg. The other dog has crushed all of Megs ribs and given her serious puncture wounds in her chest. I was in a state of shock and my initial reaction was to get Meg to the closest vet. I gave the owner of the other dog my contact details and unfortunately they have not got in contact with me.

After posting this on Facebook, there has been an overflowing amount of support for Meg from friends, family and kind strangers who have offered to help with Megs intensive care. I am overwhelmed with the generosity of others and I will never forget what you have done to help Meg and our family.
