MEGAN'S BATTLE WITH STAGE 4 CANCER

It all started when Megan had a benign mole removed from her face, which in a matter of weeks turned into the diagnosis that would change her life forever; a metastatic melanoma. Megan ended up having surgery over and over in the same place 4 times with major surgery to remove lymph nodes. While Megan was healing from the last major surgery a tumour came back and started growing in the surgery site. Eventually realising surgery and the radiation they had planned would exacerbate it they had to do something else because the scans revealed it was spreading to other areas in the body.

At the age of 28, our beautiful friend Megan Pretorious is now battling Stage 4 Cancer.

Over the last couple of months since receiving the news, Megan and Tom have been dedicating themselves full time to Megan's treatment, research and understanding what can be done.

Megan is currently on a medical trial for 2 immunotherapy drugs called Nivolumab and Ipilimumab.
