Success!
22 September 2023Hi everyone, bit of an update for you.
Meg went in for surgery this morning. They were surprised (but very happy) to see Meg back a year later after her 5 week prognosis last time!
They did blood tests prior to check she was ok to go under anaesthesia. Everything came back normal besides her kidneys that were a little high. They said that could be age or it might mean the cancer has spread so they did a scan of her liver and kidneys to check. If it had spread they weren’t going to put her through the surgery but they came back all clear!! She had a sample taken from her lymph node in her neck and results will be back in a week but he said it felt normal so, fingers crossed.
They removed the mass successfully and sent us on our way home to rest and recover. They said Meg was a wee miracle and I couldn’t agree more! ❤️
Thank you all so, so much for your donations and kind words, I could not have done this without you and I will be forever grateful to you all.
Dani & Meg ❤️🐾
Here’s a wee pic of Meg happy to be home and on the couch.
