My best friend in the entire world, Meg was diagnosed with cancer last October and after her surgery she was given 5 weeks to live. We put her on a raw diet and homeopathic remedies and almost a year later it has unfortunately returned. As Meg didn’t give up the first time, I am not giving up this time and still have hope she can have a successful surgery to remove it again and live another few years full of yum yums and beach walks. Surgery is approx $2,000 including medication for after care but to be honest any amount will help greatly to go towards hopefully keeping this beautiful soul around for longer.
Use of funds
The money will be spent on surgery and any medication and/or after care required for her recovery

Hi everyone, bit of an update for you.
Meg went in for surgery this morning. They were surprised (but very happy) to see Meg back a year later after her 5 week prognosis last time!
They did blood tests prior to check she was ok to go under anaesthesia. Everything came back normal besides her kidneys that were a little high. They said that could be age or it might mean the cancer has spread so they did a scan of her liver and kidneys to check. If it had spread they weren’t going to put her through the surgery but they came back all clear!! She had a sample taken from her lymph node in her neck and results will be back in a week but he said it felt normal so, fingers crossed.
They removed the mass successfully and sent us on our way home to rest and recover. They said Meg was a wee miracle and I couldn’t agree more! ❤️
