Well where to start?

My Name is Jen,

I grew up with Deneo, we lived on the same street, his family home was my second home, he was always the one to help anyone who needed it, he often walked me to school as I was younger (When his Bro's were not watching! Lol)

Deneo had so many friends, and it is easy to see why!

He was the most genuine, loyal, and loving person you would ever cross paths with.

He loved his friends and brothers, but the love he had for his mum was unmatched, he always protected her and took care of her. Deneo was always there for Mumma Sue he was always there to raid her pantry or fridge too! Lol..and there share a funny story of the antics from that day or week.

He never said a bad word about anybody and was everyone's friend. Larger than life but always approachable by everyone. Loved by everyone.

Even his massive neck tattoo at first impression was whoa, but he wore it as a badge of honour and wasn't intimidating to anyone with it.

Unfortunately, in August this year, Deano tragically passed away, leaving his friends and family devastated. He was the one who was always there for anyone and everyone who needed him. The loss of Deneo sent ripples through the community, people couldn’t understand how someone so full of life would be tragically taken from them.

They banded together to be there as a support to one another.

His friends and family still struggle to come to terms with his beautiful life being over so soon, but we all try and support each other as well as we can.

Today I am asking for anyone who is able, to give what that can, so that Deneo's family can place a memorial for all of us to visit, and have a happy place to go, and spend time with him. We would all love nothing more than to be able to place a beautiful headstone where he has been laid to rest.

Even if you are unable to support financially, I ask that you please share far and wide, and let’s help get this memorial. If all his friend’s band together, we can get this done.

You don't know me, but I am a distant friend of Mikey Cairns and was extremely touched to read of the generous donation by the family to Organ Donation NZ. This is only a very small amount to help towards the headstone, but it's given with huge respect just the same. All the best with your fund raising efforts.

To my brother Deneo Deneo and I first became friends in Music class at HBHS we were around 15 or 16 we would share and compete against each other with new guitar riffs we learnt, he even taugh me a few of my favourite Metallica songs riffs that I still play to this very day. I then started working at Write price supermarket and funny enough he was working there too he stacked the toilet paper and pet food Isle (the easiest isles in the store) I never forget the fun and mischief we got up to,the checkout girls we were dating and the first time I ever got stoned. we spent the remainder of the shift eating chocolate yoghurts and kit kats hiding from our supervisor. We became really good mates I would go over to his house and the knives were always on.and when he would come to our place you could here his civic comming a mile away. then he would raid our fridge Deneo you grew up to be a fine young man and a very valuable, Irreplaceable friend Mama Sue did a bloody good job raising you and looking after all her hood rats. he loved his mum very much you are forever in my heart brother and I think about you alot.I hope you look down on all of and give us the strength we all need to get through life We all miss you very much. My son is due in May! Love you bro forever your Pal Ben
