The wonderful community minded folk at NZCT have donated $10,000 towards construction of the playground. We are so close to the total needed! THANK YOU NZCT and check out the latest progress - Citycare are boxing the paths!
The fences are up and work is underway on the new playground. In about 4 weeks we will have a new community asset to play with!
The tenders are in and the contract is about to be awarded with the starting date for installation of the playground to be confirmed soon.
A little bit more money to raise now that we know what the tender prices are - we are about $25,000 away from target. The Society is working hard to get these final funds to make sure the playground is completed as soon as possible. Watch this space.

The Fendalton/Waimairi Community Board has announced another contribution of $9,227 on top of the $22,525 fund matching contribution. Only $30,000 to go to reach our $86,838 target! Play equipment is being ordered as we speak!

The Christchurch City Council has offered to match our fundraising dollar to a maximum of $25,000 on an indication of fundraising levels in February 2015. THANKS! We are now on a major push to secure that $25,000!
