We need help to fundraise the balance of building materials to build single mum Rosario & her son Jose a home in the Tijuana slums, Mexico.
Nationwide
Every year teams from NZ go to Mexico to build homes for the poor living in the slums of Tijuana. The cost of building materials is US$7,200 (NZ$10,000). So far we have NZ$5,000 on hand, but we need another $5,000 to pay for the building materials plus we would love to buy Rosario and Jose some basic furniture. Rosario earns US$50 per week working in a factory so having her own safe secure home is out of reach. She lives in a basic shack on some land that she has a mortgage on. Can you help us change their lives forever?
I run Break Free Expeditions which takes teams to Mexico every year to build homes for the poor. Each team member contributes NZ$800 per person to the building materials. This year we have an unusually small team going so we need to fundraise the balance of building materials (NZ$5,000 plus NZ$1,000 for furniture).
Thank you so much for your amazing generous donation!! I look forward to sharing photos of the build with you on our facebook page www.facebook.com/breakfreeexpeditions.
