Michael Lee’s sudden and heartbreaking goodbye

Michael Lee, a loving husband and dad, a loved son, brother, and a friend, suffered a sudden and unforeseen stroke on Waitangi weekend 2023. After the longest week of fighting for his life in ICU, on the 11th of February, his family had to make the heart breaking decision to remove life support and let him rest in peace.

Michael was taken from us too soon at only 41 years old with no previous health conditions that could have prepared us for this tragedy, and we are still struggling with the loss of such an amazing man.

His passing has rocked the worlds of all who loved him, and most importantly his heartbroken wife Sookyung (Soo) and his two beautiful kids - Daniel (9yo) and Isabel (6yo), who will forever miss their loving dad.

Michael was a big man with an even bigger heart for all those around him.

He especially loved his wife and kids more than anything in the world, and did everything in his power to give them the best life possible.

All funds will go towards helping Soo, Daniel and Isabel through this tough time by keeping a roof over their heads, food in their growing bellies and giving them as many opportunities Michael would have worked so hard to give them, all while they navigate this tough new chapter in their lives without him.
