Balancing the Books - help author Mike keep producing Kiwi literature

With three books published in a row in summer 2019-2020, it's been very draining on writer Michael Botur's bank account!

I'm taking donations to help balance the books because getting in front of publishers, advertising and printing books has cost me a huge amount.

If you donate to help balance the books, you will receive in return:

- $25 gets you a signed book of your choice, be it the poetry collection Loudmouth, short story collection True? or a copy of Crimechurch the bigshot literary novel

- $30 Donate a little more to have a character named after you in one of my upcoming short stories

- $100 You can donate a bit more to organise for me to perform poetry for 1-1.5 hours at a venue of your choice, especially if you foot the travel costs

- $150 You can donate even more for me to give constructive feedback on a piece of your creative writing and help you publish it somewhere

If you haven't heard of Michael Botur's writing, here's the deal: I help keep literary fiction alive in New Zealand by publishing a lot of my own writing, chipping in to help publishers publish my stuff, putting on literary events with other writers, travelling to perform poetry and inspire other writers, and running websites such as WriteUpNorth.co.nz and NZShortstories.com which cost about $1000 a year all up.
