    Hello everyone. It is with great sadness to inform you at this time of year that Michelle has lost the greatest battle of her life to cancer. She passed very peacefully with family at her side in the early hours of Friday 20th. Her funeral is on Friday 27th at 11am at Legacy Funeral Homes, Pyes Pa. Tauranga.

    Moving forward any money that is remaining and any future donations will be put towards her funeral and headstone costs. I will be shutting down the givelittle page after her funeral. Thank you so much from all of our family xoxo

  • Michelle's progress

    Well we were into week eight of the Osimertinib drug but after Michelle's lastest Oncologist appointment on Friday (06/12/2024) we have been told that it is not doing it's thing (cancer has got worse in the cerebral fluid) and there is no point continuing with this drug. So we won't be aquiring anymore and now it's all about caring for Michelle and making her as comfortable as possible. We have decided to put the sale of our family home on hold so Michelle can spend her remaining time with us in her home to be with family and her beloved dog Zeena. Thank you so so much from both of us for all the kind donations so far it has been a god sent. Moving forward we will still be needing help as the bills and living costs still continue to flow in and to make Michelle's wish of being in her own home will still come at a cost.

    Well Michelle is now into her 6th week of taking the new drug Osimertinib and as there has been no signifant change at least she hasn't got worse. So moving forward fingers crossed she will stay the same or with a bit of luck maybe improve some. Thank you to everyone Marty
