Hi, I’m Harriet, Mike’s wife, & we are lucky to be parents to Patrick & Elaina (12 & 9)

Our life was busy in all the wonderfully ordinary ways: work, school, sport, & plans for the future. Overnight, that changed.

On 11 September 2025, Mike had a seizure affecting the right side of this body. We initially thought he had sciatica or similar. Instead, Mike was diagnosed with colon cancer that had spread to his lungs & brain.

Suddenly, Mike was struggling to walk, use his arm, text, couldn't work or manage everyday tasks.

Mike has since endured two brain tumour removals, a stent, a stoma, targeted & whole-brain radiation, plus countless tests & scans.

Now we face a new hurdle. Mike’s treatment, T-DXd will cost us approximately $17,000 a month. Further surgeries & treatments may also be unfunded which we will update as we can.

With incredible family support, we have done everything we can to keep Mike in treatment, but we cannot continue funding it alone.

We know there may not be a cure. But Mike is still here, still fighting & still has treatment options available. We want more timemore ordinary days, adventures, birthdays & memories.

Donations will go towards treatment, & keeping future opportunities open, including potential overseas options.

Mike has shown extraordinary determination. While he keeps fighting, so will we.
