    Mike has settled in well to rehab, he is working hard everyday. He is eating meals, and drinking - finally getting to enjoy a cup of tea!

    Mike isn’t walking yet but he’s working hard at physio therapy everyday strengthening his legs and his muscle control to get himself out of the wheel chair and on to a walking frame.

    The medical team and his amazing support crew remain fully committed to getting Mike back on his feet asap. There is still a long road ahead but we are humbled by both Mikes own efforts and attitude and the commitment of his friends and family who ensure he has personal support, creature comforts and company every single day.

  • Mikes on the move!!

    Today Mike heads to Rehab for the next stage of our journey to get Mike back home; while he's made remarkable progress over the past two weeks - showing small but very 'Mike' snippets of his usual cheekiness (if you know you know), there's still a long road to recovery ahead. We are continually amazed and so humbled at the outpouring of love our family and friends keep sending us!! thank you all so very much! Mike & Meagan

  • A little update for you

    Mike and I would like to thank you all very much for all the generosity, the response has been very overwhelming and quite frankly blown away!

    Mike has made it out of ICU. He is still not conscious but making small improvements every week. They told us at the beginning of this that we have a marathon ahead of us and we’re only at the start line and they weren’t wrong! Next step we are waiting for is rehabilitation, what that looks like, we don’t know or know where we going yet!

    Thanks to very who has reached out one way or another, it means a lot and keeps us going!
