Keep our residents on the road to freedom and fun!
Here at Carter Court having a van to transport residents for social outings, community events, medical appointments and family visits is a lifeline for maintaining independence, dignity of choice and many, many moments of joy.
Without a reliable, wheelchair accessible van, they will miss out on these opportunities.
As a not for profit aged care facility, funds for the extras, beyond the day to day care of residents, have to be raised by us.
About us
The Carter Society is a not-for-profit Elderly Care & Accommodation Provider in Carterton that provides a nurturing, loving environment. We have a range of accommodation options, ranging from independent living to complete care.
Use of funds
Funds will be spent on a specially fitted out van for standard & electric wheelchair users. As people give in different ways, all funds raised may not show up here. We will do regular updates on our FB page, website and in the Carter Court entrance.
