I have a rare form of RCC cancer that is now terminal. I have to complete my memories list and enjoy every minute of the life I have left.

Thank you everyone for your donations so far. Unfortunately the cancer has progressed faster than we had hoped and a new page has been set up for a drug that may cure me.

I am 37 years old, married, and last year after a 4 year fight with this rare form of Kidney cancer, we were told it had spread to the lungs and unfortunately is now terminal. Although, we like to use the words 'life shortening'. We were told to put together our bucket list (memories list). We were devastated and our dreams of a buying house and starting a family were gone. So instead we shifted our thoughts to the positive and with enthusiasm, started to create our memories list, and we are determined to do them! The first competing in the Coast to Coast. I had been training for the Coast to Coast (Christchurch half Marathon completed in preparation) and my blog can be found at http://coasttocoastcancerrun.tumblr.com/. I am not going to let this beat me and I am going to prove to cancer that I can still live life! I am working in a job I love, a primary school teacher, coaching a gorgeous group of little girls at gymnastics, and will continue to do what I love while I can. I am a strong believer of the 'one day' being now and living life to it's fullest. Although I am still working full time, we unfortunately no longer have a lifetime to save for this list, and so therefore we need your help, every bit counts. Your donations will go towards completing our memories list and, if there are any drugs that may cure me, as that would be the ultimate memory. You can follow my blogs to see where your donations are going at:
Your message will be displayed on the page and emailed to the donor.
Your new message will also be emailed to the donor.
