I can’t thank you all enough for contributing to the hopes that Maggie could live a long, happy, healthy life.
Last night Maggies good eye ruptured and the emergency vet advised us that they wouldn’t be able to adequately manage her pain long enough to get her into surgery. To save her suffering we decided it was time to say goodbye. She had a firecracker soul and I feel so happy she was showered with nothing but love in her final days.
Thanks to the funds raised on this page Maggie was able to access fantastic care, who allowed her to be comfortable enough to be a proper kitten even just for a little while. Maggie was carefree, despite having little sight she ran, jumped, played, scoffed her food and was an overall delight - I had absolutely no doubt this surgery would have by any means hindered her quality of life. The remaining/majority of these funds will be donated to South Auckland Puppy Surrender (SAPS), who have beautiful kittens in their care who are in need of on going funds to continue to do the beautiful work they do.
Thank you all again. - Maggie, I am so sorry I couldn't do more for you. Sweet dreams beautiful girl <3
Thank you so much for showing sweet little Maggie the love and care she deserved in her last few days. RIP Maggie xx
