Family reunion after 37 years

Kiaora, my name is Nathaniel Watson and I have created this give a little page to help me and my siblings get together for a family meeting that is coming up on labour weekend but also to help with D.N.A testing for succession for our dads land . There are six of us out of seven that want to attend this meeting but finances are pretty hard. We have little information about what will be happening at this meeting and because of this me and my siblings think its best that we attend. We do know that it has something to with our land.

Our History:

Our dad passed away when we were still little in 1985. I was the age of two when he passed. There was 5 of us when dad had passed. A few years ago we found out we had a younger brother the same age as our baby sister, and a older sister who is the oldest out of us all. Our oldest sister is from Australia and wanted to know who her dad was and where she came from. She found us. Our youngest brother had known about us, but I personally didn’t know about him until a few years ago when me and my brothers got together for a family reunion to know a little bit about our whakapapa. Even though we were all young when our dad passed, our dad still means everything to us to this day.

We are on a mission to attend this meeting but also to do a succession to our dads land but in order for us to do this we need help financially with a few things. Plus it would be the first time ever that all of us would be together

Use of funds.

D.N.A testing.

Our dads name is not on our youngest brother and oldest sister’s birth certificate. In order for all of us to succeed to his land we need to get both my brother and sister D.N.A tested to prove they are our blood when we apply to the Maori land court.

Flight costs.

My brother and sister are in Australia, and donations to help get them here for the meeting would be awesome, but it will also help us get things done a lot faster with succeeding to our dads land as we will all be together as one and the process would be a lot quicker.
