Celebrating 110 years of our Mission Hall—built in a day by the Glenfield community.

Glenfield Community Centre Incorporated is a charitable organisation committed to supporting the social, cultural, educational, and recreational wellbeing of the Glenfield community.
We provide a safe, inclusive, and vibrant community hub that fosters connection, personal development, and resilience. Our Centre offers services and activities that support individuals and families, with particular care for those who are disadvantaged or have the least opportunity to participate in community life.
The Mission Hall is the original structure on the site—a significant heritage building with deep roots in the Glenfield community. It was famously “built in a day” by local volunteers, a testament to the strong community spirit and commitment to creating shared spaces for connection and support.
We are raising funds for a Community celebration of the Mission Hall and are looking to our Community to support this by contributing to the costs of the event.
About us
Glenfield Community Centre is a warm, welcoming Community Hub where people connect, grow, and find support. We celebrate community spirit, offer services for all ages, and work alongside those needing extra care to build a stronger Glenfield together.
Use of funds
Event costs such as food, hire equipment, entertainment, decorations, printing, signage, health and safety supplies, permits, cleaning, and volunteer support—everything needed to ensure a safe, welcoming, and memorable community celebration.
