Kia ora! I'm a trans guy in Ōtautahi who is aiming to have top surgery at the end of this year. I’ve been on HRT and going through medical transition for a couple of years, and I’m at the point where top surgery has become a priority.

I’m studying full-time right now, and I’m really privileged to be able to do that on my spouse’s salary, but that salary definitely does not extend to "can find $29,000 for surgery in the next 6-8 months", which means I'm now hustling in every way I can think of to raise as many funds as possible to put into my surgery fund. Whatever I don't earn or raise I'll borrow, because there’s really no option for me to end 2026 without top surgery. Use of funds

Funds will be used for top surgery (a double mastectomy). If I don't reach my Givealittle target, all funds raised will still go towards this goal and I'll borrow the shortfall.
