MMC visit to Haleakalā Observatory and JPL, NASA
MMC is taking 25 super keen students to learn about Space, asteriod's and how we program remote vehicles on another planet.
Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty
We are taking 25 students to visit Dr. Robert Jedicke at the Haleakalā Observatory in Maui and Sarah Marcotte and Dr. Mitch Schulte at the Jet Propulsion Lab, in LA.
Robert will be taking the group to the observatory and discuss how we search for near-Earth Asteroids. Sarah will be discussing how to make award winning videos (Sarah and her team won two Emmy's for their Mars Insight video) and Mitch will discuss how to program remote vehicles on another planet. The group will also get a behind the scenes tour of the JPL facilities.
