Michaelas Journey with MS

I am Toni, one of Michaela's closest friends.

Michaela was a fit, hardworking, young 22 year old when her whole world was shaken with a lifelong diagnosis. Michaela has a passion for Latin dance. She was career driven, social and bubbly woman. This illness has meant she can no longer dance and she cannot work full time, she had to leave her full time job when she was 25 due to the illness and the symptoms.

Michaelas MS has seen her have multiple relapses within a year when she is not in remission. She is currently doing well on current medication but stress causes her symptoms to flare, some of her ongoing symptoms include: Fatigue, loss of muscle control, muscle wastage, numbness, vision issues, muscle spasms, weight loss, loss of confidence, memory problems, hardtime thinking clearly, dizziness, depression and the list goes on.

I have known Michaela for around 14 years; she is so generous, kind, caring, loyal and charitable to everyone around her. She deserves some good in her life and anyone that has had the pleasure of knowing her will agree
