Mobility Scooter will change his life!

$5,805 of $8,000 goal

Please can we all pull together to buy Kevin Hansen a mobility scooter. It will change his life!!

Auckland

Our beautiful Hannah Family - and beyond!!

As we all know, our dear cousin Kevin Hansen has fallen victim to an epicly massive stroke some years ago. Sadly, this has had a massively incapacitating effect on our Cuz, and now Kevin lives on his own, in a flat in Pukekohe, and unable to function in a normal day to day capacity. This means he can't come or go - and is 100% dependent on a helper coming in to assist him for a few hours each day. Other than that, he's stuck home-bound.

My Dad checks in on him regularly, but sadly Kevin is unable to communicate and lives a lonely, existence. My heart breaks for him, and I think the power of us Hannah's & Beyond, can pull together, and hopefully make his life just a teeny-tiny little bit better.

So here's my idea....

I wonder if we can all pull together to buy him a mobility scooter - so he can get out and about, and provide him with some independence. I've researched the options, and $8,000 will buy him a brand new electric scooter, that will last many years - and give him so much independence, happiness, and quality of life.

I can't even imagine what it's like to walk his walk.... all we can do is try to improve that journey for him, and I hope we can all do this together for Kevin.

I've set up a Givealittle Page here at this link.... every single penny will help. Thanks in advance. Big hugs

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!  29 September 2020

WE DID IT!!! ... and Kevin now has his new wheels!! A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who so kindly donated to his mobility scooter.

Kevin has asked me to thank everyone so very much for your kind generosity. He was so happy and surprised, and is loving his new found freedom, zipping around Pukekohe lighting up the pavements.

This has been life changing for him, and so thank you again for your kind generosity.
